Megan Filoramo is a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner in private practice. Recognized as an Advanced Practice Pain Management Nurse by the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, she is an advocate for not only pain management of the patient but the education of the pain provider. Megan received her BSN from Seton Hall University and her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Rutgers University. Megan is active in multiple professional organizations dedicated to the mission of decreasing suffering in the world. She serves as co-chair for the American Association of Nurse Practitioner’s Pain Management community, the membership chair for the North American Neuromodulation Society Advanced Practice Provider community, and is Master Faculty for the American Society for Pain Management Nursing. She has been published in the Journal of Pain Management Nursing and speaks nationally at the AANP, NANS, and ASPMN conferences as well as the National Conference of Nurse Practitioners. Megan is also a board certified Integrative Health and Wellness Nurse Coach and owner of a nurse coaching practice dedicated to the prevention of nurse burnout. She is passionate about coaching as an approach to further empower both patients and nurses to take an active role in setting and achieving personal goals.
